# Going alone to the Ferrari exhibition in Delhi

*1 November 2026 · Formula 1*

Your friends being busy can quietly become your entire weekend.

Today, mine were busy. There was a Ferrari exhibition in Delhi I wanted to visit.

I’m going alone.

I’ve been thinking about how small decisions like this change your luck.

As a kid, I watched Michael Schumacher race.

That’s where my Ferrari obsession started.

Years later, there’s a Ferrari exhibition in Delhi, and I’m considering staying home because our calendars don’t match.

Saying it out loud made the decision pretty easy.

I know what staying home looks like.

Going introduces a few unknowns.

What will catch my attention? Who might I speak to? What might I come back thinking about?

I don’t have answers yet. I’m on my way.

And I’m sharing it.

People who know me through my work might have no idea I care about cars.

Now they do.

That gives someone a reason to send me a race clip, start a conversation, or think of me when another event comes up.

An interest you keep to yourself is harder for other people to connect with.

I’ve probably missed connections simply because nobody knew we cared about the same thing.

Posting about a Ferrari exhibition is a small way of making that interest visible.

Maybe today leads to something unexpected.

Maybe I just spend a few hours looking at Ferraris.

That’s already a good reason to go. The afternoon doesn’t need to become a networking success story to count.

I’m calling these notes Luck Razor: things I try, choices I make, and what happens after.

First entry: Going Anyway.

My friends are busy. I’m a Ferrari fan. I’m on my way.

Let’s see what happens.
