# Dots needs a secret vault

*25 October 2026 · OpenAI, AI agents*

Dots does not have a secret vault. [@OpenAI](https://x.com/openai) please up your game, can't be dependent on GitHub secrets.

On the other hand, [@bot](https://x.com/bot), just present an inline input field which stores the secret securely. 10/10 DX.
