# LoomUp without the Cloudflare proxy

Made adjustments to LoomUp.

Removing the Cloudflare proxy reduced response time to under 85ms for reused connections, though cold connections remain near 300ms, largely due to network delay. Cloudflare added roughly 200ms in round-trip latency, so I removed it.

Next, I am adding custom headers to examine the 80ms request-to-first-byte breakdown.

81.5ms is 👨‍🍳🤌🏻
