# Codex bots could be the iPhone moment for models

If Codex bots can match what Muse and Grok bot achieve, I am certain this is the iPhone moment.

The Codex app is strong but depends heavily on Skills. Custom bots with a recurring theme and frequent use deliver the experience developers sought.

Anthropic must follow, since it cannot remain only a frontier model firm; such uses create stickiness.

This becomes the default way to engage with a model.
