# Upgrading to OpenAI Pro Max on day one

*26 September 2026 · OpenAI, Subscriptions*

I think [@OpenAI](https://x.com/openai) will launch the Pro Max plan alongside their Bot app. I am upgrading day 1.

> OpenAI is coming up with a Pro Max plan.
>
> $500 - exclusive of taxes.
> ₹52,900 - inclusive of taxes. ~ ₹43,378 if you provide a Indian GST number while billing.
>
> Let's see if they do a 100x of the base plan/5x of the Pro plan or anything less.
>
> This would be one of the most expensive monthly subscription ever.
